A Modern Glass & Mirror Company is a well-established residential and commercial glass company. We have over 50 years of experience providing commercial glass and residential glass services.

First and foremost, we've learned that the relationships we have with our customers are what keep us in business. Sure, people love our work, our professionalism, and our availability, but more than anything, they want someone they trust when the need arises.

Second, we've learned that when we deliver value, everybody wins. Our customers have said that we offer the best value in our industry while retaining our unmatched service and availability. Many of our customers have called us the best glass company in the Atlanta area.

Also, many of our customers are long-time repeat customers who we know on a first-name basis. We truly pride ourselves on our customer service, but don't take our word for it.

I want to thank Anthony and "billy bob" hehe for their professionalism on site and installing. They also excel at customer service in the sense that they educated our business the original source of the issue and how to prevent the damage to our exterior glass. I also really appreciate Lauren and Terry for their down to earth ease during their measuring. On the backend, the invoicing and paperwork was pretty easy which is handled by Carol. She'll send you receipts pretty timely. The only suggestion I would prefer was to have less "last minute" updates and vague time windows if given any. Other than this, the final product is exceptional! Terry and Lauren helped me match the glass and taught me a cool trick with a blank paper to tell. It seemed dark on the sample and I trusted them anyways, It turned out to be "EXACT" match. Glad i did. Lastly, Definitely also have one of the best competitive prices. Other places quoted me 2x the cost for our windows. 2 windows at a certain size was 1,100 ish. Other places? 2300-3000!

I would recommend them to anyone who needs both residential and/or commercial needs.

Came for a pane of glass. They don't cut everyday so you may have to wait a day or two. Also just check the measure of it before you leave. But great customer service and friendly staff.

We have an impressive list of commercial glass customers which consist of big corporations, local businesses, and local organizations throughout the metro area. On the residential side, we have customers (also all over the metro area) who come in to our shop to pick up a custom piece of glass for their tables, doors, windows, or whatever project they are working on.

You can find A Modern Glass on Moreland Avenue near I-285. We have our own private parking lot, so parking is free.

History and Our Key Team Members

In 1968, Delmar Lee Crymes wanted to start a better life for his family, so he moved from Michigan to Atlanta and founded A Modern Glass & Mirror Company. Just two years later, Delmar passed away, and his son, Terry, who was only 18 at the time, immediately took over our glass company along with his mother, Opal Jean Crymes. They ran the company with Geary Wood, a fellow employee who is still working with us today as a lead man.

Opal retired in 1980, and Terry partnered up with George Herron. They have been running this as a partnership since 1980. In 1985, Terry brought his wife, Theresa, to run the office and business affairs. Our other faithful employees are:

Everybody at A Modern Glass can cut glass. Cutting glass is the first thing we teach our staff when they come on board.

Warranties

We offer a one-year warranty on closers and our work on insulated units as long as there is no abuse involved.
