About Our Glass Company
A Modern Glass & Mirror Company is a well-established residential and commercial glass company. We have over 50 years of experience providing commercial glass and residential glass services.
First and foremost, we've learned that the relationships we have with our customers are what keep us in business. Sure, people love our work, our professionalism, and our availability, but more than anything, they want someone they trust when the need arises.
Second, we've learned that when we deliver value, everybody wins. Our customers have said that we offer the best value in our industry while retaining our unmatched service and availability. Many of our customers have called us the best glass company in the Atlanta area.
Also, many of our customers are long-time repeat customers who we know on a first-name basis. We truly pride ourselves on our customer service, but don't take our word for it.

Customer service is great as well. They were responsive when I called and via email. I actually like going into the shop (the ladies who work at the front desk are so friendly and helpful) because it gives me a better idea of the glass selections available, how the edges can be cut, and the difference in price. They helped me select glass options and fabrications that were reasonable priced for what I needed.
When I got the first set of glass back they had little scratches on the surface. The lady at the front desk was so nice and apologetic about it, and said she would not let me walk out with scratched glass and would have the techs redo them for me. They came back great, which is why I ordered a 2nd set. I really like working with A Modern Glass, and will use their services for now on.
We have an impressive list of commercial glass customers which consist of big corporations, local businesses, and local organizations throughout the metro area. On the residential side, we have customers (also all over the metro area) who come in to our shop to pick up a custom piece of glass for their tables, doors, windows, or whatever project they are working on.
You can find A Modern Glass on Moreland Avenue near I-285. We have our own private parking lot, so parking is free.
History and Our Key Team Members
In 1968, Delmar Lee Crymes wanted to start a better life for his family, so he moved from Michigan to Atlanta and founded A Modern Glass & Mirror Company. Just two years later, Delmar passed away, and his son, Terry, who was only 18 at the time, immediately took over our glass company along with his mother, Opal Jean Crymes. They ran the company with Geary Wood, a fellow employee who is still working with us today as a lead man.
Opal retired in 1980, and Terry partnered up with George Herron. They have been running this as a partnership since 1980. In 1985, Terry brought his wife, Theresa, to run the office and business affairs. Our other faithful employees are:

Everybody at A Modern Glass can cut glass. Cutting glass is the first thing we teach our staff when they come on board.
Warranties
We offer a one-year warranty on closers and our work on insulated units as long as there is no abuse involved.
